While one needed a tweak in Windows XP to change the product key, in Windows Vista it's fairly simple to change the product key.
Microsoft now made a doorway for you to change the product key within the system properties window.
There are two way's to change the product key in Vista now.
To do so goto START and type slui 0x03 and hit ENTER. (see figure 1)

This will directly popup the Windows Activation Window (see figure 2) where you'll see the option Change product key

Or the second way is to goto START and type control.exe system ENTER. (see figure 3)

This will open the control panel system window (see figure 4) where at the bottom you'll see the Change product key option. Click it and the Windows Activation Window (see figure 2) will popup.
